Another year

*Sigh* nothing like another birthday passing by to make you realize time is going by too quickly. Lately I'm just breaking out, going gray, and having other skin issues. It's sad that as part of my birthday celebrations, I'm buying both acne cream and trying out some skin regenerating serum!!! :-/

Gym time

Finally starting to use my gym membership. Might be able to get used to this recumbent bike thing and working out while sitting on my bottom. Hmmmm.

About Me

Who am I? Well, I am still working on defining that and I hope that the me tomorrow is better than the me today.

I tell everyone that I was 'Made in Taiwan' and if I ever got a tattoo - that's what it would say! My family, activities, and work keeps me pretty busy! In my spare time, I try to find a little me time to craft and play video games!

So this will be my rambling ground about the non crafty side of my life and the quest for self-improvement. (If you want to follow along on my crafty side click here.)

Health

I discovered a couple of years ago that I have an extra bone in my feet (accessory navicular). The tendon has to stretch extra to go around it and gets inflamed easily. This has led to flat feet a lot of pain when I walk too much.

The extra weight doesn't help. I tried to start running a few years ago and it was going okay until I rolled my ankle really badly.

I started working out with at home fitness programs (love T-25!), but then I was constantly derailed each month by horrible pain which was finally attributed to Adeonomysis and Endometrosis. I had a hysterectomy almost two years ago and now I'm looking to get my health back on track.

It's been difficult with the stress of moving across the country from packing up my home, selling it, and moving from Northern VA to Colorado. Working full time and taking care of two kids and juggling their activities make it challenging to squeeze in 'me' time. When I do have time, I want to craft and not sweat! Unfortunately, I'm now paying the price and am the heaviest I've been since I was pregnant!!! :(

So here we are in Colorado where every one around me is pretty much tall, Caucasian, and thin and I stick out like a sore thumb being short, fat, and Asian. I can't exactly change the short and Asian part so I'll work on not being so fat! :D
